Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats;

Eat not the bread of him who has a hard, grudging, and envious eye, neither desire his dainty foods;

Don’t eat a stingy person’s bread, and don’t desire his choice food,
Don’t eat food with stingy people; don’t long for their delicacies,
Don’t eat the food of a stingy man; don’t be greedy for his delicacies.
Don't accept an invitation to eat a selfish person's food, no matter how good it is.
Eat thou not the food of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainties.
Eat not with an envious man, and desire not his meats:
Don’t eat with selfish people. Control any desire you have for their finest foods.
8. Do not go and eat a meal with someone who hates to spend his money. His food may be good, but do not be greedy for it.
Do not eat the food of a miser. Do not crave his delicious food,
Do not eat the bread of a man who is stingy; do not desire his delicacies,
Do not eat the bread of a man who is stingy; do not desire his delicacies,
Don’t eat the food of ·selfish [stingy; L evil eye] people; don’t ·be greedy [long] for their ·fine foods [delicacies].

Don't eat at the table of a stingy person or be greedy for the fine food he serves.
Don’t eat a stingy person’s bread, and don’t desire his choice food,

Don’t consume food provided by a miserly person, and don’t desire his delicacies,

Do not eat the bread of a selfish man, And do not desire his delicacies;
Do not eat the bread of the stingy, and do not desire his delicacies.
Don’t associate with evil men; don’t long for their favors and gifts. Their kindness is a trick; they want to use you as their pawn. The delicious food they serve will turn sour in your stomach, and you will vomit it and have to take back your words of appreciation for their “kindness.”
Don’t accept a meal from a tightwad; don’t expect anything special. He’ll be as stingy with you as he is with himself; he’ll say, “Eat! Drink!” but won’t mean a word of it. His miserly serving will turn your stomach when you realize the meal’s a sham.

Do not take food with unwilling hosts, and do not desire their delicacies;
Do not eat the bread of a selfish person; Or desire his delicacies;
Do not eat the bread of a selfish man, Or desire his delicacies;
Do not dine with a stingy man or hanker for his delicacies.
Don’t eat the food of selfish people; don’t be greedy for their fine foods.

Don’t eat the food of anyone who doesn’t want to share it. Don’t long for his fancy food.
Do not eat the food of a begrudging host, do not crave his delicacies;
Do not eat the food of a stingy host, do not crave his delicacies;
Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies;
Do not eat the bread of a man who thinks only about himself. Do not have a desire for his fine food.
Don’t eat with people who are stingy; don’t desire their delicacies.

Do not eat the food of a stingy person, or desire his delicacies.
Do not sit down and eat the bread of a tight-fisted fellow or desire any of his delicacies,
Don’t eat the food of him who has a stingy eye, and don’t crave his delicacies:
Eat thou not with an envious man, and desire thou not his meats; (Do not thou eat with the envious, and do not thou desire his food;)
